when we refer to panel admins it means staff members that are qualified and trusted, and handpicked by our key core board members.
when we refer to panels / website it means the web panels you use to manage our services, which includes all domains under __techstar.host__. (e.g. dash.techstar.host, panel.techstar.host )
when we refer to staff it means staff members that are entrusted to manage our services such as customer support, management, and technical support but not limited to those.
when we refer to account it means anything tied to you, (your email, username, display name, profile picture) within our discord server or registered in our panel
1. Our free hosting panels are for development uses and are not (fully) recommended for production use, it's your own risk and you have no right to complaint to us.
2. Although we aim for a hundred percent uptime for our services, we cannot guarentee that, for improved uptime and stability please refer to our paid services.
3. Due to the laws and regulations, we do ask you not to use our services, panels, for (or in association) any illegal activities (DDoS, DoS, malicious activity against a person, hostname, domain, server or service), crypto mining, Lavalink services, Java servers, and only use it for what it was intended for. If not, there will be actions taken against you and your account.
4. Any server on our free panel, will be subject to inspections by our panel admins, which we reserve the right to do so, you must not host more than one unit of the service on your server, (e.g. one discord bot on a discord bot server) and also any servers that does not follow the guidelines listed (#3), any warnings, announcements or message that was sent to you will be subject to action taken against you and your account.
5. We (admins) and owners also reserve the right to suspend or delete your server if anonymous activity is shown on servers, it's your responsibility to regularly login to the panel. This is also subject to purges that the systems we use to delete inactive users. We try our best to provide you with the best advice, but ultimately it is your responsibility to look out for messages that are sent it you.
6. We (staff) have the **right to not serve you for any particular reason.** You must not expect support to be offered to you as a free user, therefore you must not be rude, unkind, impatient, disrespectful, dismissive, or inconsiderate towards our staff or any of the members of the community. Any rudeness, or abuse towards our staff or any members of the server or panel will not be tolerated. There will be actions taken against you and your account and law enforcement will be contacted if required.
7. It's your responsibility to backup your files regularly, there is always a chance of data loss (in a extremely highly unlike event). We do not hold responsibility on your files if they are damaged or lost. Although we do regular backups and will try our best to recover your files.
